Gas Services – It’s a legal requirement for any business carrying out gas work to be registered with CORGI - all Abacus Plumbing and Heating Services Gas Engineers are CORGI registered in respect of gas installations and carry a CORGI id card and will have it available to show you when carrying out any gas works.

Landlord Safety Requirements - All Landlords have a legal duty to protect tenants safety and to ensure that all gas fitting and flues are maintained in a safe condition. Gas appliances should be serviced in accordance with the manufactures instructions If these are not available it is recommended that a CORGI registered installer, service them annually.

Gas Safety Certificates - If you live in rented accommodation, insist on seeing written proof that a annual safety check is carried out on each gas appliance and flue before any new lease starts, (discounts available for multiple properties).
